A LITTLE ABOUT ME
A resident of the Birmingham, AL area for most of my life, I attended the University of Montevallo, a small liberal arts university. It was there that became aware of a field of study previously unknown to me: graphic design. The chance to be creative, to work with computers, and to make moneyÑthree of my favorite things to doÑmade becoming an art major (graphic design concentration) an easy choice. The next decision was easy as well. A Bachelor of Fine Arts degree meant taking a few more courses than a Bachelor of Science, but they included painting, sculpture, ceramics, watercolor, photography, 2-D design & color theory, mixed media, drawing, and art history.
Since my college days, I have worked in the publishing and printing fields, but I am still looking for the right place to contribute and continue my growth as a designer.
In 2007, I moved to the Atlanta area to be with my girlfriend. Since then we have adopted two miniature schnauzers, Rolfe and Sgt. Schultz. The three of them help keep me sane in an insane world. |
